Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP / Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using the Laravel framework, with a strong focus on APIs, database design, and background job processing.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel
– Design and build RESTful APIs for web and third-party integrations
– Work with MySQL databases including schema design and query optimization
– Implement and manage queues, jobs, and background processes
– Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
– Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
– Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
– Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
– Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
– Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework
– Hands-on experience with MySQL database design and optimization
– Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
– Experience working with Laravel Queues and Jobs
– Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles
– Familiarity with Git and version control systems
– Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with Laravel packages (Horizon, Sanctum, Passport)
– Familiarity with Redis or other queue backends
– Experience with Docker and containerized environments
– Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
– Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
